100% whey protein tips
Spoon stirred: Remember 100% Whey Protein Gold Standard is Instantized, therefore simply add one packet of 100% Whey Gold Standard to a glass filled with 6-8 oz (200-250 ml) of water, nonfat milk, or your favorite beverage. Then simply mix with a spoon. Stir for around 10-15 seconds or until powder is completely dissolved. Hint: If the environment you're in is cold or damp it may help to mix it in some warm(not hot) water to get an easy dissolving of the whey protein powder initially, then add a few blocks of ice to get than 'chill' on the drink most prefer.
Tip: Mixing one packet with 6-8 oz. of nonfat milk instead of water will give you a thicker, creamier shake.

Shaker method: Bring a sealed shaker cup with you to the gym/garage/workout area. Then the best way to get a powerful dose of protein immediately after your workout simply add just one packet/sachet of 100% Whey Protein Gold Standard to your shaker cup and then pour in 6-8 oz. of your preferred cooled beverage. Seal and shake for around 30 seconds. Ahhh, just great.

Blender Method: Add one packet of 100% Whey Gold Standard to a blender filled with 6-8 oz. of water, nonfat milk, or your favorite beverage. Blend for 20-30 seconds. Then add 1 to 3 ice cubes and blend for an additional 15-30 seconds. The shorter period for those who like to 'crunch' the shake down or longer to enjoy the smooth yet chilled taste.

Suggested use: For strong positive nitrogen/protein balance try to consume approximately 1/2-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per day through a combination of high protein foods and protein supplements AND protein rich foods.
However For the best longterm results, consume your daily protein allotment over several small meals spread evenly throughout the day AND make sure your water/juice/other fluids are kept up to help make the Kidney's & liver's job of deamination much easier on the system.

As a full time Naturopath we know human physiology well & in a functional sense, even more so than doctors. Accordingly we suggest the human body sees the protein shake as a FOOD and NOT a fluid. Therefore aim for at least 8 glasses of non-shake fluids per day all year round BUT whilst in heavy training up it to around 12 glasses, even more in very humid or stifling conditions.
